HSB Consulting has undertaken the recent project management of the capital upgrade and refurbishment of 49 Exhibition Street.
The works required the completed removal of the base building core with the existing toilets set on half landings and large inefficient plant rooms on each floor.
The scope solution maximized the available floor space, brought the building into a contemporary tenancy market and maximized the net return to the owner based on a rapid construction management procurement process.
The building now provides a fully upgraded modern facility within a 1960’s naked concrete shell which is well suited to the cutting edge design and architectural.
